Posting "I just launched! Please check it out!" on social media is the equivalent of shouting into the void. Zero personalization = zero results. Plus, it makes it very easy to ignore since people can think, “if hundreds of other people saw the post, surely someone else will help.”
Sending the same email to 100 people feels efficient but comes across as spam. People can tell.
"Can you share this with your 10,000 followers?" is a huge ask. Start with "Would you try this and tell me what you think?"
"I'd really appreciate your support" puts pressure on relationships. Instead, focus on value: "I think this could really help with [their problem]."
Most people are busy, not ignoring you. A polite follow-up often gets results.
