Role: Content Marketer

Demand Curve is looking for a content marketer and copywriter with strong experience with growth marketing. Or a growth marketer with a passion for copywriting.

A year ago, our mailing list was 1,000 people. Today it has over 15,000 founders and senior growth marketers receiving a weekly newsletter with ~50% open rates and incredibly high NPS. We need someone to help take our newsletter and content to the next level.

We want to build a content team that consistently produces high-quality content about growth marketing and entrepreneurship. Content that drives sign ups to our newsletter and leads to our products.

You'll get to partner with some of the fastest-growing startups and late-stage companies. As a Y Combinator startup, we have deep roots in the startup ecosystem. We also run the largest community of senior growth marketers, which is a great place to source ideas and partnerships.

Your role includes

This role is a mix of helping us finalize our content marketing strategy, as well as ongoing execution of it. It will involve creating the content calendar, doing one-off long-term guides like this one, and pumping out shorter-form content on a weekly basis to include in our newsletter.

Performing research to write marketing and entrepreneurship articles, guides on using marketing tools, and case studies.

Working with our partners to co-produce content, an to edit their work to bring it up to our high standard. Sometimes taking their rough notes and turning it into a full article.

Helping generate ideas for content, and creating and maintaining the content calendar.

Writing somewhat technical guides on using different tools with step-by-step instructions.

Compiling images to use in articles, and speccing ones out that need to be created by a designer.

Role specs and requirements

We're looking for someone to work with long-term on a full-time basis. Someone who can help us create a strong content marketing presence for our brand.

Experience with both copywriting and marketing. We want someone who can write about marketing and provide valuable insights to readers.

Excellent grammar, copywriting, and copyediting skills.

SEO knowledge a bonus.

The position and team is fully remote in the United States and Canada. Full-time. Competitive compensation.

Comfort working both independently (most of the time) and collaboratively.
