Bell Curve started out as a full-service growth agency based in San Francisco, and we quickly found ourselves working with some of the fastest growing startups and enterprises in the world. We've grown dozens of companies from zero to millions in revenue. We've worked with Microsoft, Framer, Streak, Clearbit, Service, Tovala, Perfect Keto, and many others. We've written the most popular guide on growth, we give talks at places like Google and Y Combinator, and our work is often used as case studies for ad channels.
We are currently looking for someone to be our VP of Growth Strategy.
The role can be broken down as follows:
Grow our clients business. Work with our clients to develop effective growth strategies. Then work with our wider team to execute them. This is an opportunity to go inside some of the most exciting startups and learn how they tick. You will contribute to their growth strategy and tactics, anticipate their needs, and identify new opportunities. And you'll develop close relationships with their founders and marketers.
Grow OUR business. You will ideate and develop new services and products, expanding our capabilities to address the needs of our clients. In the most practical sense, this looks like constantly bringing new strategies and ideas to our clients, getting them excited and growing our revenue.
Recruit, Hire, Manage and Coach. We expect you to be a leader. That means you will recruit, hire, manage and coach a team of A+ growth marketers.
Who you are
There's a good chance our ideal candidate comes from a product marketing background or an in-house growth team at a startup. Why? Because we're looking for someone who understands strategy and the interdependencies across departments required to really unlock growth. As opposed to a tactician, platform expert, or growth-hacker.
Agency expertise is welcomed too — assuming you worked across departments and built a robust, cross-discipline expertise in all things growth.
